Special Events Highlight 2009 Show
While the Education Conference moves into
the spotlight at the 2009 PGA Merchandise
Show, a long list of special events and functions
promise to make the 56th edition of the Show a
memorable experience for an estimated 45,000
attendees representing nearly 80 countries.
Like the Education Conference seminars, many
activities at the PGA Equipment Forum stage
will focus on the golf economy, including a presentation by PGA of America President Jim
Remy on Thursday, Jan. 29, on the “Value of a
PGA Professional.”
PGA Equipment Forum anchors Callaway
Golf, Titleist and Ping will each conduct
informative seminars Jan. 29–31, with Callaway
marking its 26th straight year at the PGA
Merchandise Show, Ping commemorating its
50th anniversary as a golf company with
LPGA Player of the Year Lorena Ochoa
appearing on Friday, Jan. 30, and Titleist
returning to the PGA Merchandise Show.
