“Experts always say that in a challenging economy,
you need to learn how to work smarter, and the 2010
PGA Merchandise Show will provide PGA Professionals with the opportunity to discover what other
PGA Professionals and industry professionals are
doing successfully in traditional and non-traditional
categories,” says Ed Several, PGA Golf Exhibitions
group vice president and general manager.
“The PGA Merchandise Show will provide a
practical platform to help PGA Professionals take
advantage of the expected and the unexpected as
the industry transitions to a more robust economy.
For example, various OEMs will offer PGA Professionals insights into traditional methods to generate profits through clubfitting. But some
unexpected methods for building revenues from
clubfitting also will be explored, such as how to use
social media outlets like Facebook, Twitter and
You Tube to drive potential new customers to your
golf facility for lessons or clubfitting sessions. The
2010 PGA Merchandise Show will cover all the traditional bases to help PGA Professionals drive
rounds and revenue, but also will examine new tools
to make golf operations more successful.”
