Cinnamon Hill runs
from the foothills to
the seashore, testing
all parts of your game.
Pro-Am all raved about the quality and variety of golf
courses utilized for the event. Each of the three RHGA
courses has a distinct personality. The White Witch is
built into the undulating terrain overlooking the
Caribbean Sea, giving the course a mountain-like
atmosphere. Half Moon Golf Club is a classic Robert
Trent Jones layout that makes strategic use of the
Jamaica trade winds. And Cinnamon Hill Golf Course
runs from the foothills of the Blue Mountains down to
the beach and back up into the hills for a panoramic
golf experience.
Each of the three courses are in superb condition
and offer experienced, engaging local caddies to guide
golfers around the layouts.
“My members were extremely impressed by the
high quality playing conditions at all three courses,”
LaFrenere says. “I had played them all before, but I
really enjoyed some of the updates that had been done
on each of the courses, especially the remodeled
finishing holes at Cinnamon Hill – what a great treat
that was. There were so many memorable moments,
but what really stands out is how much fun we had
with the caddies at the different courses. They became
a part of our team through the ups and down in all our
rounds.”
As with the golf courses, the accommodations
available to participants in the Rose Hall Golf
Association Pro-Am are impressive and distinct. The
Ritz-Carlton Golf & Spa Resort is luxurious and
stately, Half Moon Resort offers seaside suites and
Rose Hall Resort has been completely renovated and
boasts a family-friendly waterpark. Also available are
accommodations at the Solis The Palmyra, a new all-
suite property that offers the comfort and amenities of
a home away from home. Each resort has all-inclusive
meal plans, world-class spas, easy access to shopping
and plenty of other activities and amenities.
