PGA Professionals will have an opportunity to test the new KBS HiRev shaft in a
variety of popular wedges supplied by many of the major club manufacturers at
the 2010 PGA Show. The shaft, designed to enhance ball flight by affecting a
higher spin rate, is timely, considering the USGA’s groove ruling will take effect
on the PGA Tour in 2010.
The KBS Tour 90, introduced one year ago, answers the call for lighter weight
performance shafts for irons. This steel shaft offers the playing characteristics of
the tour-proven KBS Tour shaft at a weight that is 21% lighter. KBS Tour 90
benefits serious players who prefer steel in their irons and need to increase or
regain club speed and head feel.
