More than 65 educational Seminars
throughout the Show weekend, presented by
recognized speakers from The PGA of
America and the Association of Golf
Merchandisers.
Participants will be awarded
1 MSR Credit
per each hour of participation with no
maximum limitations.
Golf Operations – oversight of
responsibilities for golf management and
activities to include player development,
tournament management, tee reservation
services, merchandising, professional shop
services, golf car fleet management, rules
interpretations and oversight of golf course
maintenance.
Instruction – specializing in teaching the
game and managing the business side of golf
instruction.
General Management – oversight and
management of the entire facility.
Retail – management of merchandising for
green-grass golf shops and off-course retail
shops to include purchasing, inventory
control, marketing and promotions and
displays & modeling.
Ownership & Leasing – development and
financing of golf facilities, and all aspects of
ownership and leasing.
In addition to the five (
5) Career Paths an
additional category, Personal Enrichment, has
been created to include retirement planning,
credit basics, money management basics,
apprentice mentoring and employment
consultancy.

Seminars will take place Thursday from 8:00
a.m. – 2:
30 p.m., Friday and Saturday from
8:00 a.m. – 12:
45 p.m. at the Orange County
Convention Center in Rooms W101 – W103.
